So many times we start our dreams with the hopes that everything will be a “quick run” through the park. We very seldom think that the park is filled with all kinds of booby traps or obstacles that will feel impossible five minutes down the road. So when the red horn goes off our feet hit the ground running before we even train for whats to come.
We realize a quarter of the mile down the crooked side-walk that we have no water. We may even ponder the thought of giving up before we even started. Following your passion requires a great amount of discipline. One of my favorite motivational speakers Les Brown said in one of his famous seminars that “If it was easy, everybody would do it.”
We think because i took the risk to follow my dreams everything great will fall into my lap. Some may think because I have the drive you owe me.
I wish i could personally vouch that following your dreams only took hoping and praying. Unforunately following your dreams takes way more than hoping and praying.
Oftentimes, we feel because everything isn’t happen now for us now. We should quit. Because nobody is paying our ideas, small businesses, or even blogs any mind we should give up.
